Check out this video! The Escala (Spanish word for “scale”) is an elegant mixed use condominium development that will be among Seattle’s most exclusive addresses. The design team is led by renowned residential architect Thoryk Architecture of San Diego. It will have 275 condominiums and a 25,000 sq foot private city club, to be named Club Cielo. Escala is currently the largest condominium development, estimated at $350 million. A close distance to Pike Place Market, theaters, nightclubs and other cultural amenities.
Club Cielo features will include a full-service gym, bar and lounge with a large, theater; events center, meeting room, and a wine cave with storage. Condos at ESCALA include custom-designed Italian cabinet systems for the kitchen and bathroom, premium appliances, high-quality plumbing fixtures, hardwood floors and wool carpeting. The condos sizes range from 950-square-foot, one-bedroom City Homes to three-bedroom Sky Villas at more than 3,000 square feet. Penthouses may range up to 16,000 square feet. The grand living spaces will have ceilings between 9½ feet and 12 feet, and expansive terraces will act as extensions of the living rooms, with their floor-to-ceiling windows. 5th and Madison is unique in that all of the units, except the three penthouses, are one-bedroom or one-bedroom + den layouts, ranging in size from 808 to 1,244 square feet. The two- and three-bedroom penthouses range from 1,957 to 2,164 square feet in size.
With the exception of the 2nd and penthouse levels (24th floor), each floor accommodates only 6 units, all facing North, West or East. Units on the upper-levels, particularly the “00″ and “01″ stacks on the West side offer spectacular city and Elliott Bay views and have abundant light. Residents will need to be higher than the 12th level to over look the library on the North side. Amenities include a restaurant on the lower level, resident fitness center, activities/club room, guest suite, dog run and landscaped walking paths with a water channel. The project will appeal to true urbanites who have a penchant for in-city living as the location of the project is in the middle of the Central Business District with only a few other residential buildings in the area. Living at 5th and Madison will provide a different experience with fewer residential amenities compared to Belltown or the Market district, so buyers should keep this in mind. The 38 story building will feature 143 luxury residences ranging between 1,660 to 2,860 square feet. It will be the first tower to be completed under the city’s new zoning regulations. 
The Cristalla was designed by Weber and Thompsons Team and has 191 units featuring upscale finishes, many with Spectacular city, water and mountain views. The designers reused the elabrate terra cotta facade from Cystal Pool - an Italian Rennaissance building and includes a glass dome. There are also several penthouses with large decks. The building is located close to resturants and amenities. The view from the rooftop deck of Puget Sound and the mountains is awesome. Cristallia won a 2006 Multifamily Executive Award and a 2006 Masonary Institute of Washington Award of Commendation
